Printing
Sean wrote in with this question recently: "I?m having an issue using the print screen function of iSeries Client Access since we upgraded it to 5.7. The print screen just prints blank pages. I've checked the page setup options, and they look fine -- 10 CPI 6 LPI, and Courier font (tried both default W1 and new). Also the Print Nulls as spaces is checked. I see that there is now a print graphics option in the file menu, however, it is "grayed out" currently." Do you have any other advice for Sean? -- Debra Tart, associate editor, Search400.com

First, there is and never will be an iSeries Client Access 5.7. That's one obvious problem -- an infamiliarity with what the product is and what version and release it is. Without such absolutely basic knowledge, it's extremely difficult knowing how to provide an answer. The obvious thing to try is installing a current service pack. But it's going to be hard to locate without knowing what version/release the product is at. "5.7" probably refers to the PComm emulator in iSeries Access V5R3. Try the IBM i Access for Windows Service Packs web page. Tom
