Dear Sirs, I've ben grappling with this technological problem for a fortnight!!! Dragon naturally Speaking 7.0 Preferred Edition doesn't want to work on my Win 2000 box. Please not that I have a multi-boot system and the same software works perfectly under WIN XP Pro. I have checked that sounds are functioning correctly in my system ( and that I can record my voice without any problems). I've also cheched my audio card (Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Player) and my headset ( Sennheiser PC 130) and all seems to be OK. I've also examined the installation log of Dragon Naturally Speaking and it says at the end: Dragon Naturally Speaking was installed successfully !!!!. What else I have to do? Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

What problem are you having with the software exactly? Does it just not run?

I looked on their site and it says that Dragon Naturally Speaking “wasn’t designed or tested for use with the new features of XP SP 2″ If you have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed that could be your problem.
