I use a Dell Poweredge SC440 as the server in my office. It runs Win 2003 Server Standard Edition as the OS. Recently, we bought a new server dell poweredge 2800 which we are now using. my problem is this:
I wanted to demote the SC440 so it can be used as a workstation, but the active directory will not remove. instead, i get the error message "there are no more end-point mappers from the point you specified" ( I didn't specify any end-point mappers).
Alternatively, i tried re-installing the OS, but i also get the error message "Windows did not detect any hard disk on this system" (the SC440 runs a virtual disk system).
So, what do I do? How do I get Windows to "see" my hard disks? and how do I remove the Active Directory?
