Also, links to other sites can be invalidated at any time. A link to vendor documentation is generally reliable, but a forum link or other dynamic site might point to a deleted thread. — Tom
Thirdly, because of the (minimalistic) wording of your post, people might be inclined to think your post is a spam message trying to get us to click a link that purports to be a “safe” location, but will really load us with malware.
