Hello,

Error 1406 is a common Windows error message. Error 1406 can sometimes be caused by a hung program running in the background or more commonly a corrupted registry file. Use CTRL+ALT+DEL to get the task manager, if there is anything listed with [Not Responding] end task it. Next, run a registry scan to check for registry errors.
It is best to clean your registry in order to optimize system performance & Fix the cause of many Windows Errors. It is highly recommended to Run a Free Performance Scan to automatically optimize memory, CPU and Windows Settings.
