Hi All, I am working on a project to send spooled files through an outq to a wintel server running esker fax. We have done this on many occasion with out any problems. However, This time the spooled files contain French alphabet characters. When the spool file arrives on the wintel server the French alphabet charters get garbled. I've been told that it may have to do with Graphic character set and code page codes and I have tried a few with essentilly the same results. The system value on the iseries are set to Character ID . . . . . : 697
Code page . . . . . . : 500. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any guidance. Do I have to create a work station customizing object? Do I change the values on the print file? Are there settings I have to change on the Wintel side? Is there a guide in how you match iseries codes to Wintel Codes? I know a lot of question but any assistance would greatly be appreciated.
