You have to try another type for win32 system or win64 system !

Which OS r u using now ! What does it mean, "my own custom board".... Have u made mother board by ur own idea ! Whatever it is they r all dot matrix printer and if TVS msp is working then Epson LX300+ also working (hope this is 9 pins).... U can change the data cable to check if the data cable of Epson is Ok / not and plug the cable with same port where u plugged with TVS.

    Hi Subhendu,

I am working in an embedded company. We are making a carrier board. In this board, there is a parallel port. It is a 25 pin parallel port.

I have connected both printers to the parallel port(DB 25) of my PC. Both are working fine. But, when i'm trying with our carrier board only TVS MSP is working.

I'm trying with the same cable. So, the problem is not with the cable.

Our carrier board OS is andriod.

I've been through so many sites and documents on google. I've found one thing, interface supported for TVS MSP 240 is Centronics IEEE P1284A Parallel, and for EPSON LX-300+II is IEEE 1284 nibble mode.
