Problem installing Exchange 2007 Management Tools
We are trying to install the Exchange 2007 Management Tools on a 32-bit virtual PC (MSVPC). The following message is received and installation fails: The computer does not belong to a valid Active Directory site. Check the site and subnet definitions. The computer has been removed and re-added to AD. Intstallation works fine on other non-virtual machines at this location/subnet. Any ideas on what to try next? We have checked the firewall and AV and nothing seems to indicate those are the issues. What is interesting is that a packet capture during the installation shows a lot of traffic to/from 207.46.19.190. This is a Microsoft website. There are a lot of RST packets before the error message shows during the install. Thanks for the assistance.

Answer Wiki:
If you are installing from the disk, it only supports 64-bit operating systems. Use this <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6be38633-7248-4532-929b-76e9c677e802&displaylang=en">link</a> to download the 32-bit version.

This is working fine from the same installation source on other devices on the same subnet. The installation media is fine.

Make sure you added all of your subnets to the subnet folder in Active Directory Sites and Services.
