Q:
Privileges in Exchange mailboxes.
Hi everybody,

My problem is this:

I have a "shared" mailbox that is being used by a number of different people.

If the mailbox is being accessed using Microsoft Outlook 2000 then I'm not able to move any folder within the mailbox.

If the same mailbox is being accessed using Microsoft Outlook 2007 then I'm able to move any folder within the mailbox.

My question is:
Why ?
What is it that I have to
look into ?

On beforehand thank you.

Kind Regards,
Martin Thanning

It is good old Microsoft. The way the older clients access the mailbox it locks it but 2007 has a smarter locking feature that will allow you to make certain changes while someone else has it open. MS will use any excuse possible to make you upgrade as we did for just this. From 2000 to 2007.

I wonder if 2003 works. Anyone know?
