Printing problems…. Client Access on Windows 7 64 bit
Was running Windows 7 on 32 bit PC printing to HP lazer jet.. Upgraded to 64 bit PC using Windows 7 with same client access. Print is very garbled and unreadable. This has happened on two other similar upgrades.. Is there a fix?.

Answer Wiki:
Sounds like you need to also upgrade the printer drivers.  Give that a try and I believe you may fix your problem.

Is there a fix?

It’s hard to guess because you haven’t given enough information. What is the server OS version? What is the PC System i Access version? What System i Access service pack is installed on the PC?

I assume that you are printing through a System i Access printer session, but it’s not at all clear. Please describe the relationship between the System i Access installation, the server and the printer. Also, what is being printed?
