 Printing problem
In Herb's shop they have an old program running in the 3600 OS. They are pushing that data output over to OS/400 on the same box. Their problem is a printing issue where the remote printer, available across a stable VPN, is not properly compressing the printing output to accommodate the size of the paper. Any ideas? -- Michelle Davidson, editor, Search400.com

Answer Wiki:
It could be anything, it would help to narrow down the possibilities if we had a little extra information: Is the printer networked directly or connected via a PC and an "emulator" (for want of a better term) such as Client/iSeries Access or an LPD session? How are the writer and output queue defined on the 400? Has the problem only recently started happening and has anything changed recently? Jonathan

What is the 3600 OS? That might help in determining what needs to be done.
