Printing PDF File in a network Printer
Hi,Facing a typical problem while printing pdf file in windows 2000 professional. When a pdf print job is given to the network printer (HP2100), the o/p is junk. It prints only if the "Print as Image" tab is selected. The printer is a network printer and the print job is spoold on to a print server.

Download the latest drivers for Hp 2100 - that fixed my problem of the garbage that came out when printing a pdf.
Without knowing the error page printed out from the printer (if at all) it's hard to say, but it might actually be a PCL6 driver issue. Try moving the driver to a PCL5 version and see if this fixes the problem.

Latest PCL6 driver
&
Latest PS (postScript) driver.

Are you using Adobe Editor. I faced this problem & when i reinstall that editor, my problem got fixed. I dont think thsi si teh problem with N/W printer . this is the only issue with Adobe reader. If you have registry cleaner then you can try that also .otherwise 90% reinstallation of adobe raeder or editor will works .
Try printing with the postscript driver for the printer.
If the driver is PCL6 I wrote about this recently in my blog. Basically, try setting the printer using a PCL6 Driver to use a PCL5 driver to test.
