I am using Vista with an HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One Printer. The Printer works fine with all functions but will not print properly from the internet. I get a text garbled page in the print preview window and no images. I have updated the drivers, uninstalled the software - strange as it was perfectly OK until about a month ago - would really appreciate some help with this.

Unless you are using the HP software package, the formatting for printing is done inside the browser. Your browser should be able to preview the print request before it even gets to the printer driver. HP makes some very large printer software packages for the multi-function printers that scan, fax, and copy along with their printing duties. FWIW, they will slow down your computer significantly if you run them at startup.

I would be looking at the browser, and trying a different one to see if it performed the same.

Use Revo Un-installer tool and with the help of it totally get rid of your existing hp drivers and software.
After that download fresh copy of new hp driver and softwer for your printer form hp download site.

Thanks for all your replies - I eventually discovered that Adobe Reader 9 is incompatible with IE7 - so downloaded version 8 and voila all working again!
