I'm currently using Linux Mint and also have a Windows 10 shared printer that I'm trying to print on. I've already configured it (using the GUI) and it's able to find the printer. But the printer just keeps on blinking and not printing. Anything else I should do? Thank you.

Open terminal, use the command like, tail -f /var/log/messages and press enter key. Now plug the printer to USB port, (assuming) & wait & see the changes on the command screen. After that use, the command like, lsusb to get bus/ device id. Then take action as per this message. You can see here for more help, https://access.redhat.com/solutions/36348

However this is on red hat, but it can work also on Mint.
