For example, the PRTF could be defined with a width of 132 even though an actual print line might only be 80 characters wide. The result can be rotation and automatic reduction in an attempt to fit “132″ characters on each page.

Make sure you’re using an appropriate PRTF before searching for technically detailed solutions.
