I want to print, a “txt” file member, from a qclsrc file using strseu, option 6. I have a cl (Ovrprtf & strseu) that accomplishes this interactively, but when I call this cl from an Advanced JS, job I get an error {CPF000,1 error - Error found on STRSEU command,) and it does not print. The library (not in a library list) is the current library and the qclsrc file both have *public & QIJS as having all authorithy to them. If I monmsg for the cpf0001 the js job runs to *normal eoj condition but also produces no output. If this won't work, is there another way of printing these simple txt file members from JS?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Would you please post the CL program. Job log available?

Qpssvr05,

I was able to get this to work without an issue. See my command below;
STRSEU SRCFILE(RWPLIB/QCLSRC) SRCMBR(CHGSEC01) TYPE(CLP) OPTION(6).
I scheduled this to run thru the Job Scheduler, no issue.

I think we’re missing something here !

    Hi, By the way - Why do you need to print a CL source from the scheduler? Seems a bit strange... Another option would be to use RUNQRY.... Regards, Martin Gilbert.
