FWIW, as the author of a book on CISSP and somebody who’s been watching that certification for years, I also agree with the recommendation of Clement DuPuis’s outstanding CISSP prep Web site: http://www.cccure.org, the online study group for the CISSP exam. His book recommendations are spot on (he teaches CISSP boot camps and covers this entire curriculum at least half-a-dozen times a year).
Interested and voracious readers might also find my two-part article at InformIT.com “The Computer Security Bookshelf,” also of interest in digging deeply into the background materials for this exam:
Look at http://www.lostclusterz.com/quiz/quiz.php for a really excellent online exam.
Roberta Bragg’s CISSP Training Guide is my favorite…see it at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/078972801X/qid=1097244253/sr=8-8/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i8_xgl14/103-5061697-5461413?v=glance&s=books&n=507846
