ppp from AS400
I need to setup a ppp connection from the AS400 to a trading partner. I tried to use the ppp setup from the AS400 but it connects and then drops. The only way it can be done is from a pc with a dial up connection. It pops up a "after Dial Terminal" window. You must key in your user name and password and then the screen continues until it shows garbage on the screen. At this time you click on the DONE button and the pc connects to their server. You then open a command screen and ftp the files to their system.
Is there a way you can do the terminal window and signon from the AS400 and then do the ftp process. I have Linoma software called Transfer Anywhere which will do the ftp process, but I need to connect to their server first.
