Hello I installed PS (ver 2) from windows updates. I have a couple of Q:
1)The event viewer shows a bunch of event id 4374 package not applicable 'warnings' but I tried running some cmdlets and they work fine in 2 However, I get an exec of scripts is disabled on this system for version 1 execution Do I even need 1 if 2 is installed?
2)Is PS 2 required for SQL 2008 R2 std install? thx all

Fresh install of W2008 SP2 std

id recommend removing ver 1 as it seems to be causing a issue, if i recall PS 2 is required for SQL 2008 to function
