How do I convert photos in a powerpoint presentation to .jpg files?

Kate, there are tons of shareware applications that will do this. I don’t have a need for this, so I can’t recommend a favorite program. Depending on what bells and whistles you’re looking for — do a Web search for “convert powerpoint to jpg” and you’ll find lots to choose from. Good luck.

Good question Kate - we can make it happen with the built in windows tools. Open up your powerpoint document right click on the image and click copy. Click start - run - mspaint Click new (control - n) click paste (control v) click save and choose JPG! Bam - just repeat for each graphic.

Open the preentation, go to File->Save As-> Save as type should be JPEG file. It will ask you for current slide or all slides, give the destination location you will have a slides in JPEG format.

If all the other methods mentioned fail, and you are on a Windows machine you could use the Snipping tool and crop the image you want then save it as a jpeg. This method works as well with some sites where the right-click and save image will not.
