That depends purely on U ! If u don't worry about expense simply power it off/ if expense is no matter, simply power it on. However, u can take advantage of hibernate.

I agree that it depends on you, but the answer is probably "Yes." For me, I have various reasons to leave most of my systems on at all times. From your question, though, it seems unlikely that you have your system doing anything when you're not using it. So, turn it off. -- Tom

You are going to get a lot of different answers on this.  As far as my PC's are concerned, at night, since they are not in use, I power mine off.  I have had too many bad experiences with allowing them either to go into sleep mode, or hibernate, because they do not wake up properly and this is goes back to the early versions of Windows and is still an issue even in Win 8.  The machine then has to be powered off and then back on again to wake up properly.  Other people don't have this issue, but I have and I am still seeing it.  Next issue is power consumption.  Even in Hibernation or Sleep, the machine is active and using power, not much, but some.  I really don't see a reason to leave any machine running at night using electricity  when I am not using it.
