I have 6 pop3 accounts delivering email to me on my Exchange server. I want to be able to know at a glance which account an email is from so I can easily prioritize.
Problem is that on occaision, the system will download several days or a week of emails a second time. I could have 400 emails downloaded that I have already dealt with in the near past. This requires a manual process of deleting all of the duplicates.
My hired Microsoft Exchange guy say there is no satisfactory solution since I want the POP3 account email address showing in the TO: column of my Outlook program.
He claims this happens because a glitch with one of the POP3 accounts causes Exchange to not mark or to unmark emails as processed.
It sounds like bunk to me and I am looking for some solution. Can you help
