 Pop3 and Imap questions for Outlook 2010
IMAP, Outlook 2010, Outlook 2010 x64, POP3
desktop using pop3 set to not clean messages off the server will this work to have messages in both locations? When I delete the messages from the pop3 side I want it to be removed from the server as well.

POP3 does not "sync" with the server. What you do once it is in the outlook account on the PC is independent of what occurs on the server. Your only option is to change the setting to leave a copy on the server or not. Go to File, info, account settings, click the data files tab. Click settings and then the Advanced tab. Change it to not leave a copy on the server and all mail will then be local to the PC.
