POP3 access to an Exchange 2007 SP1 CAS
I would set up a POP3 access to an Exchange 2007 SP1 CAS. I permitted traffic in firewall from web to port tcp/995 for that server. Using a test account, I set up a Windows Mail client from an internal network and it correctly works downloading emails. However, setting up a pop account with the same credentials in a 3rd- party webmail account returns an error "connection refused". Are there special configurations I am missing ? How can I debug step-by-step POP call to my CAS server from the web to see where EXACTLY it stops and returns error ?

Software/Hardware used:
Pop3, Exchange 2007 SP1

Answer Wiki:
Does the 3rd party web mail server support POP3 over SSL? If not you'll need to open TCP port 110.
