I manage about 350 users running Outlook 2007 (Exchange 2007) and I have "Enabled" the 'Turn Off Enable the Person Names Smart Tag Option' for all users using our Default Domain policy. The problem I'm having is in the Outlook client the Smart Tag option box is still checked and when a user Unchecks the box and applies the change it does not save it. The box remains checked regardless. Am I doing something wrong in the policy?
