 PO wont let me ship Partial Shipments
SAP, SAP 5.0, SAP errors
I entered a PO on SAP but when I get to the delivery page it just shows one line of the PO (the only line that we have enough material for) all the other partial lines are not showing and wont let me invoice them, this has never happened before as we usually ship some partial lines

I'm assuming it's a PO for a stock transfer if you're creating deliveries. What are the settings in the delivery tab for delivery complete, final delivery, part delivery/item? It could be that the items were already shipped on another delivery (check the PO history) or it could also be that the customer created for the plant doesn't allow partial deliveries. To check, go to the shipping tab of the PO to find the customer number, then display the customer with tcode XD03. Enter the company code and sales org so you can display the Sales area data. When you're in the customer record click on the Shipping tab of the sales area data and see what the setting is for Partial Deliveries per item.

Thanks for answering, we decided to change the quanities on the po to meet our inventories.

I look on the customer record and there were no locks for ship only complete orders.

One strange thing is that in the po, on the shipping tab, under the delivery status column, the only line that we did not have to change since we did had it complete in inventory was the line that says “partially delivered” and the rest that we adjust so we had enough in inventory say “fully delivered”

What does the PO History show? Were the partially delivered and fully delivered indicators set before you changed the PO? If so, It sounds like a delivery was already created for the full quantity of the two lines which should show up in the PO History. If not, is there a chance that someone created a delivery and then deleted it?
