This may, at first glance, seem to be an unhelpful response to your question but on reflection it may prove to be of value to you.

Firstly, what do YOU want?

Do you have any plan for where you will be and/or what you may be doing in 1, 5 and 10 years?

Have a look at some business planning ideas and apply them to yourself. Specifically you may try SWOT analysis on yourself and then move to an outline of a business plan (for your life).

When you have done some of the above you will be in a position to either answer the above question(s) yourself, or to phrase the question more specifically.

Best wishes,

Frankly, I hire experience over certifications. It doesn’t matter if you’re a CCIE. If you’ve never seen a real enterprise network, you’re useless to me. Experience is valued over certifications, especially at the lower level certifications. Give me a CCIE with 10 years of global networking experience, and I’ll pay top dollar for that person. Experience matters.
