Picture Doesn’t Appear
In my preview window I see the picture I have inserted into my document, but when I open up the document the picture is not showing and this message appears where the picture should have been.
{SHAPE/*MERGEFORMAT}
Is there anything I can do to get the picture to appear?

HI:
If you are using Word 2010 and I understand the question correctly then you need to make a change in Word to have the picture appear.
1. Click on File then Options.
2. Select Advanced.
3.Scroll down to Show Document Content section and
4. Uncheck Show Picture Place Holders.
This should now allow you to see items you paste into Word.
