Picture caption to be the file name in Word 2007 document

I constantly have to insert Images from an extensive Photo Library, and in an ideal world, I'd like to know if it is possible to have the Caption insert the File Name of the image. Alternatively, any method of having the name of the File printed alongside or below the image would also suffice. Any ideas? Appreciate any response. KazVee - Sydney NSW

Hi Kazee, you might have already received your answer, but just in case, select the image, click the References tab [I’m using Office 2010 but the same instructions can apply to Office 2007] and in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. Move to the Label field, then click New Label button. Once a label name is entered, the default caption name will reflect the same name followed by a caption number. In the Position field, choose the desired position for the caption name, then click OK.

Using this method I would have to type in the file name in the caption field, a real pain if you want to do 20 pictures or more. Any method would have to be automatic to be of any use.

From what I see, that tells me how to make a label - but not how to get the filename of the image. Help please?
