How can I attach photos in start message to email?

Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.
To find the pictures in your photos off the start menu you need to navigate to that folder when adding to you email. The path may vary depending on the permissions of the pictures
for yourself as one user   C:\Users\yourusername\Pictures
or all users (public)  C:\Users\Public\Pictures .

Not sure what you are asking really. Are you looking to add an image to the body of an email and send it as a file attachment? What do you mean by "start message"

This is still confusing. What did you mean attach photos from windows 10 start menu? Generally photos can be stored on a hard drive like C:/D: or in a flash drive or other removable media. So just log in your email client and from there (browse/ something like that) you can attach photos providing proper location of your photos. Have you lost your photos/ could not find them anymore? If you can not remember, you can use search option for get them quickly.

When I upload photos from a camera they are stored in the photos file on the windows start menu and I'm not able to copy or move them to another program and can't work out how to send them as an attachment to an email. Thanks for your help so far.

Generally, When copy/transfer photos from removable media like flash drive/CD/DVD/camera, they can be stored in My Pictures folder under current user account (if it is not mentioned another location). So why are you worried? Log in your account then click attachment button of your email client and locate the camera which is shown as a drive on your computer, if you connoted the camera with your pc through a camera cable/ data cable. So how did you upload the pictures of your camera to your PC?

Through a USB cable and they are sent straight to photos in start menu and I can't move them from there, download them, save to. Only able to view them!

There are two ways of doing it. One, open the email account and attach the image file as we do normally and send it. Another way is to go to your image folder, right click on the image you want to send through email, select option email and then it automatically gets attached to your new email to send it to the recipient.

If you view images, assuming this is windows image viewer and after opening image, just click File menu and then click Make a copy. It opens a window where it asks for location for saving the file. Now for your easy access, first saves on Desktop by pointing the mouse on Desktop icon on left hand side Or locate any drive.
