They are already there. You don't have to transfer the favorites. Both IE6 and IE7 look in the same folder for favorites: c:documents and settingsusernameFavorites.

If this is from a different machine and not just an upgrade from one version to another you can copy the folder from the location mshen mentions on the IE6 machine to a thumb drive or what have you and paste it into that same location on the IE7 machine. The "star" for favorites in IE7 is in the upper left-han
d corner of the browser.
Clarification…..True, I know that the favorites are moved over, but what I am looking for is a way for me to transfer the customized list IE creates as you are using your favorites. I have some very lazy users and they can’t wait for IE to recreate it.

I think I understand what you're saying.
You may be saying IE 'Favorites,' but you actually mean IE 'History' - the kind that lists your most recent ly visited URLs in Internet Explorer's Address bar?
Well - from an IT Support perspective, this is way over the top, as IE History recycles itself every 20 days or so anyway, but that's besides the point.
There's not much out there in terms of transferring IE History unless you're willing to purchase a utility that does just that.
Start by experimenting with IE History Manager 1.0, and see how you like it, but I'm telling you, that's a lot of redundant work for nothing

Just copy the favorites folder mentioned by Mshen to any other location.
Now I’m not sure about what ‘customized list’ you are talking about.
You know how IE generates a list of most frequently used favorites when you choose the favorites tab. I am looking to be able to copy the file that remembers most frequently used.
I didn’t know of that ‘most frequently used favorites’ feature…
