Permissions to edit user properties in GAL
Hi I would like to give a user permissions to edit the "user properties" in the Global Adress List. For example I would like the user to be able to edit Depaertment name, Postal Address, Job Title etc... I there any way off doing this without giving the user access to the Active Directory? Thanks Junaid

Answer Wiki:
You have to give them access to active directory to make these changes, but that does not mean they will have rights to do ANYTHING in AD. Here, read this for more specific information regarding admin rights in exchange 2003.

The link you provided me with does not give me any information on how to give a user the right to edit “user properties” in the Global Address List.
Basically I need to give a Receptionist the right to edit “user properties” of each user in the Global Address List without having her go into AD and edit.

Ideas, Solutions anyone?

Thanks
Junaiod
