I am facing the problem in a Windows 2000 server(which is not the domain contriller) it is a member server of a domain and file server. I am facing a problem while i want to add/change the user's permission for a particular file or folder. When I do the following: 1.Right Click on the folder. 2.Select on of "Sharing and Security" menu item. 3.Selection of "Permission" tab. 4.Clicking on the "Add" button at this point I am getting the error: "Unable to display the user selection dialog. (null)" and I am totally unable to change any security options for any of the folderthat server. Any help me in this regarrg will be greatly appriciated. Best Regards,
