 Performance files to Excel
I know how to run performace tools on Iseries but how can I download the Iseries performance files into Excel and create a graph on the data? Thanks

I’m not quite sure what the question is asking. You download performance files like any other (multi-member) file. Are you familiar with using QDBC for Excel?

Or do you need to know how to interpret performance files? Or something else…?

Performance data files aren’t exactly well suited for processing with Excel, but it can be done. I’d suggest that there are better ways of creating charts from those files though.

I am not familiar with ODBC and trying to figure out how to setup ODBC for the Iseries so I can download performance files to create graphs in EXCEL. Any links to documentation that will help I haveWindows 7 ony PC…
