 Perc 5 virtual disk settings lost
Dell PowerEdge, Dell Poweredge 6850, Virtual Disk
My Dell PowerEdge with Perc5 controller and 5 x SAS drives wint boot, apon further digging i cant find Virtual Disks configured. the trouble is that I dont know the original setup ie Raid 0,1 or 5. Is there any tricks to find out what the original VD was and how to reinstate as I have no backup

do you have any 1st time installation sheet? from there they will let you know. Or even call dell and they will know the configuration of your server
