I think you should be able to do it this way:

-Select the 'INSERT' tab
-Click on object
-Select 'Adobe Acrobat Document' from the list
-Click on Ok.

or this:

-Select the 'INSERT' tab
-Click on object
-Select the 'create from file' tab
-Click on 'browse' to select the desired PDF file
-Click on Ok.
