PDF attachment not working correctly in iNotes
When users send a PDF attachment (other type attachments work fine) in iNotes (webmail), it is received in both iNotes and the Notes client as raw text. Domino server 8.5.2. iNotes 8.5.2. IE ver. 8. Here is a snippit of what some of the text looks like that is received...this is the attachment in raw form:

Answer Wiki:
May'be u have a firewall or DMZ configuration that is causing the problem. Guess ur iNotes access is in a DMZ or has a firewall in front. U may try sending a .jar file or even an .exe file and try opening via iNotes to find out for sure. If u are blocking PDF files, u'll most likely be blocking EXE files. Also u check the below: Click Preferences > Mail tab > Make sure the name of the mail owner is specified and then Save and Close

This issue has been resolved. It was a hotfix that was applied to the affected servers. We had HF263 and applying HF281 resolved it.
