I have a SanDisk CompactFlash card that has been working in all of my laptops except for the newest one I just got. When I put the card in the new laptop it recognizes that a card has been inserted because the new hardware install dialog pops up but it can't find any drivers for it. When I go into the Device Manager the card is listed as PCMCIA UNKNOWN_MANUFACTURER. I have tried to put other types of cards in the same computer and the same thing happens. All of my laptops are Dell Notebooks. The reader is a Texas Instrument PCIx515. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dustin

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The “Driver Guide” site has a driver for your device here you probably have to sign up for a membership, but there is a free membership available for occasional users. I’ve gotten several odd or obscure drivers from this site. While I have never had a virus problem originating from this site, always scan any files you download.
Good Luck!

Are any of your other systems the same OS as the new one? Or does the new one have a newer OS?You can check the manufacturer’s web site. You probably need an updated driver.
