PC as a printer emulator
I have an old device that can output measurements only to a printer through an LPT port.
I need to hook up a PC instead of that printer to capture the data from the device.
How would I use a PC with an LPT port to act like a printer and save the data in electronic format?

Answer Wiki:
Reaching way back here - but I believe you should be able to redirect LPT output to a printfile. You may need to search for some DOS utilities to do this. One I came across (I have not tested) is called PRN2FILE. Consider DOSPRN for NT and above.
