Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If both Pc’s have a USB port (not sure how old your “old” computer is), you could use a USB drive (you can get 2Gig drivers for less than $20 if you shop) as a sort of “taxi” If there is not an quick way to network them, using the USB drive would probably be your best bet.
This will work for coping FILES, if you want PROGRAMS that are on the old system to be on the new one, you will have the best luck reinstalling them from the original install disks.

File and Settings Transfer Wizard (Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>File and Settings Transfer WIzard).

Or put both computers on a network and share the folders on the old PC, grab them off the network and stick them on the new PC.

Hope this helps!

You can use USB data transfer cable (also called USB data link cable, easy cable).Communication speed much faster than using WinSock(TCP/IP) over USB or serial port over USB. USB2.0 communication speed is 480Mbps, effective data communication speeds greater than 100Mbps, USB3.0 communication speed is 5Gbps, effective data communication speeds greater than 1Gbps
