Thanks for your help.
THe problem I have is that when i open my mail database, it looks like an archive database, i.e. on the left, I’ve the text “archive of xxx” and I’ve not the normal bookmarks ( such as Agenda, tasks and so on).
I guess there is a parameter in the database description that is not correct, but I don’t know which one and how to fix it.
Thanks for your help.

It’s a profile document. The best thing to do is delete the profile doc with and agent and then replcace the design with the mail template.

Well, I tried to follow your advice but unfortunately, there is no result. It’s as if there were a tag in the notesdatabase, that makes the Notes Client regards the database as an archive, although it is not.
I’ve searched in the online help what is the characteristic of an archive database, but I did not find anything. Any help will be appreciated…

Are you sure it’s not linked to the wrong design template? In any case, I would try replacing the design with Std8.5Mail, even if that’s what it says it’s using now.

Did you use Notespeek to make sure the profile doc was deleted?

Well, the archive database profile Profile document was not removed. Now it’s done and all is OK, Thanks for help to everybody.
