What can i do when a user lost his email password on Lotus/Domino? I have been create a new user for them but there are many people losing their password. Is there any way to recovery it?

As far as I know, there is no possibility in LotusNotes to initialize a password.
What we do at my place is: when we define a new user (with “blabla” as his first password), we keep a copy of this original .id-file; when the user forgets his password, we simply replace his .id-file with a copy of our “backup”, so the user must log in with password “blabla” and change it as soon an possible.

    Password recovery is a feature of Domino R5 and later. It is not enabled by default, however, so you have to set it up before you can recover passwords. See this technote for more info: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=swg21095627 Regards, JimS
