Passing Parameters Between Stages within the Same Request Set

I have a single request set which contains 2 stages. The first stage is the program extract which is a package. The second stage is a FTP job. I pass several parameters to the first stage. One of the parameters I would like to be a part of the file name the FTP stage creates. For example: I pass a parameter say DAY1 in the first stage which is declared as a VARCHAR2(4). I would like to pass this parameter to the parameter set in stage 2 which will be a part of my FTP datafile name. Say the value in DAY1 is SUN2. How can I create the default value in the parameter listing in stage 2 as: SUN2-data.txt ? Thanks in advance for any help here....
