I am running Client Access Ver5.5 on a Panasonic CF-H2 Toughbook. When I initiate the built-in scanner on the Toughbook to scan a barcode, the device beeps signifying a good scan, but the Client Access session is not displaying the data. If I initiate the scan on a barcode in note pad, it displays the data. If I initiate the scan on a barcode in MochaSoft (Scale down version of Client Access), it displays the data. If I plug a hand held scanner (LS2208 Symbol Scanner) into the USB port of the Toughbook and scan a barcode, the data is displayed in Client Access session and also in MochaSoft and in Note Pad. What would cause the built in scanner not to work or display data in Client Access when scan?
