Paging File in Exchange 2007 on Windows Server 2003
Hello All, Can anyone explain to me why my paging file on my mail server running MS Exchange 2007 is always creeping up to 12 or 14 GB of paged and nonpaged memory?? I am using an IBM eServer x3500, with Windows Server 2003, with 5 GB of RAM? When the paging file gets so high mailflow slows down to a crawl almost to the point where it stops. Also, I have noticed that store.exe is using up to 3.5 GB of memory variably. Randomly the Exchange Store service will stop running on its own. Does anyone know a remedy for this?? Thanks.

Hi, What is the SP level of the OS is that running SP2. The reason might because of the Changes in the way the Network card handles the data post SP2. There has been a new feature called scalable network pack introduced with Win2003 SP2. Refer to the release notes. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912222 Please check this article and make the recommended changes. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945977 bhanu
