Yes, you can allocate the same storage group to multiple hosts. Just be sure that only one server has write access to the storage group at a time unless they are clustered servers.

Decimal Data Error in V5R4
The Decimal Data error will occur when you run the program. At that point you will get the information as to where in the program it failed and what field was invalid. It is not a programming issue, it is a data issue.

Is there any quite time at all over the weekend at least, if not fot all sys data, the user data and little of sys config data needs to be saved. Any system critical deployment of Hardware problems can cause problems, and surely backup is essential. You might also consider Save while active feature

Hi, I noticed your message, did you get any luck with this? We have Power6 520, and have maxed out on our DASD, could anyone tell me installing VMAX 1.0 as a SAN to iSeries as storage solution? The LUNS are already created and it need just to configure. Any guidance and docs?

Hi, A Small suggestion.. Assuming your from file is keyed in necessasry order …Do copy the from file to a temp file (in qtemp at run time) and then do a CPYTOIMPF with the temp file. Hope this was helpful..:)
