Would anybody know how to check the background service on Android is running? I need to know the activity in Android that's able to toggle the state of the service (basically lets me turn it on if it's off / turn it off if it's on).
I currently have my workplace all set up with Windows 7 so now I'm looking to develop Windows Phone 8. However, I just found out from one of my friends that it can't be installed on Windows 7. Does someone know of a way to install it? Thank you.
