I would like to ask an additional question on this subject. It has been a loooong time since I’ve worked with subfiles. I have a problem where the subfile is loaded. If the user selects to remove all lines, the updates to the files are done and the subfile recreated with 0 records. When it re-displays, the records just removed are still displaying. SFLDSP is not on at this point.

did the original issue ever get resolved? i have this exact same issue and would love to know what the solution was if it was resolved! thanks!

How do you display all objects with publich authority?

You don’t. The list is likely to be so long that you couldn’t meaningfully display it.

You can, however, run the PRTPUBAUT command to print a list of publicly authorized objects. Selection is first by object type. There is no choice of “*ALL” object types, so the command would be run once for *PM objects, once for *FILEs, etc.

The list is also selected by library, but special values such as *LIBL and *ALLUSR can be used. Expect long lists for anything but single libraries.

Instead of libraries, you can also select by directory.

If a list must be displayed, you’ll need to create the function.

Other similar commands can be found through the SECTOOLS menu.

“disjoined from domain,“…. how could u disjoin when the 7 pcs r not pinging the server, as far as I know, it is not possible to join domain if they can’t ping server 2003 ! / any how u got success to ping previously. What Kind of IP i.e. dhcp / static u did not mentioned here.

Is that a problem? Or is there another problem that you need to solve?

Ping failures are often unimportant. They are also often expected.

But if there are other problems, such as failure to join the domain, then those may be much more important than inability to ping.

Please clarify the actual problem that you need to solve.

Domain Name System is a hierarchical database system, which is used for resolve IP addresses from a Domain Name or host names. It allows to give meaningful names to the hosts through URL system, instead of an IP Address which contains only numbers.

First of all you should have arabic fonts installed.ThenSelect some cells, Go to Insert Menue-> Symbol->Select font as Arabic Transparent
Then whatever numbers you type in those cells wiil come as Arabic Numbers. This has to be done only one time. After that such format is available under Format cell->Number->Custom

I am also having the same issue. I have 4 windows 7 clients which is not communicating to a 2003 DC.

I have tried changing dns server, disabled windows firewall, tried static and dynamic IPs
disjoined from domain, switch ports have changed..still it is not pining to a DC. Please help to resolve this issue.
