Create a LNotes DB replica for Unique ids only
There is a nearly-complete version of lotusscript code that could be adapted to your need in Lotus Designer Help. This is a link to the 8.5.1 Publib page. This help information has not changed since Notes 6.5, so it should work with any supported version you are using. Link to page.

Mail header “unknownsender@unknowndomain” Lotus Notes
Check the Domino Directory (NAB – names.nsf) person document for the user. Ensure the InternetAddress field has his internet address. Internal Lotus Notes mail users should see the From field contain his Lotus Notes name, e.g. Bob Smith/Group/Domain. People receiving email through email should see the value from his InternetAddress field, e.g. Bob.Smith@Domain.com.

yes. A subnet: part of the IP address space, eg 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0, 10.1.1.1/255.255.255.0 (this one especially, 10.x.x.x networks normally have 255.0.0.0 as the subnet). How can I prevent unauthorized copying of a PDF file from a CD/DVD
Not sure if it’s possible but try adjusting the file properties by right clicking and deny all options except read. That MIGHT work.. If someone want the contents bad enough they will find a way around it like they do copyrighted movies, and the movie industry has a lot more to lose.
