• How does Windows 8 Runtime compare to Silverlight and WPF?

Does anyone know if Windows 8 Runtime can be used to create Metro style apps? I know it can be used with XAML and it is based on .NET, so C# and VB.NET can be used to write the apps. With this being the case, does it work with HTML, CSS, DOM, and JavaScript as well?

  • Exchange 2003 Recovery – No back up.

I have pub1.edb, priv1.edb, pub1.stm and priv1.stm. I also have some log files. The exchange server has completely failed, and the back ups don't work. The company has since installed a new server, and a new AD. Can I recover the mailboxes from the files I have and restore them to new mailboxes?...

While at work we use a Google calendar, but at home I use an exchange server. Yeah, I know, I know – long story, but not necessarily germane here. What’s the best way to sync the two so that I can keep track of events and contacts from both locations?

I’m trying to set up two versions of a website – one in English, the other in German. Is it possible to create a page on one website in German and then have Sharepoint translate it? I don’t want to have to build the same site manually twice.
